United have a 15-point lead over City and a win could effectively hand the title to United, with only seven games left of the season Rooney is taking nothing for granted, especially as City snatched the title away from United last season, which went down to the final game.
“One bad game and everything could fall and so we go out and play each game with a positive attitude,” Rooney told the Daily Mail.
“We have to stay focused. We have to make sure we keep doing our job and keep our concentration.”
