Gennady Golovkin set to clash with David Lemieux on HBO PPV

Golovkin Lemieux Fight Gauge

Universally feared and revered unified Middleweight champion Gennady “GGG” Golovkin (33-0 30 KO) announced via the popular social media account Twitter on Saturday night that he will be facing IBF Middleweight titilist and exciting two fisted Slugger David Lemieux (34-2 31 KO) on October 17th, at the Premiere Boxing mecca of Madison Square Garden in New York on HBO pay per view.

Golovkin is quoted as posting on his Twitter account Saturday night:

“I will fight @lemieuxboxing in a Middleweight Title Unification on #October 17th @The Garden & HBO PPV! #GolovikinLemieux”

This will be the undefeated Khazakstan born Knock out artist Golovkin’s first fight to appear on a pay-per-view platform, as well as the Montreal born Lemieux’s.

Hard core fans of the sport are thrilled and cannot wait to see this unification slugfest transpire on October 17th as the two Middleweight titilists have combined for a thunderous 61 knockouts in 69 fights as professionals.
