Another NBA player has contracted the coronavirus. Detroit Pistons forward Christian Wood becomes the third NBA player to come into contact with the virus after testing positive.
Wood’s Pistons were among the few teams to have their players test for the coronavirus after it was revealed that Utah Jazz stars Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell contracted he virus, causing the Utah Jazz-Oklahoma City Thunder from Wednesday to be postponed out of fears of the virus spreading throughout the league. Wood had 30 points and 11 rebounds against the Jazz last Saturday and a career-high 32 points on Wednesday.
The NBA suspended its season on Thursday amidst the fears of the coronavirus and are taking serious safety measures to keep everyone safe. As for Wood, he has shown no symptoms of the virus and is doing well.
