The UFC returns to the O2 Arena in March for the annual Fight Night as UK prospects prepare for their time to shine.

Last year, Sean Brady silenced the English crowd when he submitted former UFC Welterweight Champion Leon Edwards in the fourth round.

It also included Molly McCann’s final fight in the Octagon with an unfortunate loss against Alexia Thainara, and an impressive submission victory from exciting Scottish fighter Chris Duncan.

However, after UFC 325, where Alexander Volkanovski retained his 145-pound title, the next challenger will likely be decided in London.

Movsar Evloev vs Lerone Muprhy

When Diego Lopes received the next featherweight title shot, the MMA community were not best pleased and believed two contenders were more deserving of the opportunity.

While being the #1 contender in the division, Evloev did not fight in 2025 and had one scheduled bout against Aaron Pico, which was cancelled.

The Russian is undefeated and has beaten many credible opponents, including Aljamain Sterling, Arnold Allen, Dan Ige and Lopes.

The 31-year-old understands his position that he needs one more successful battle before claiming a rightful opportunity for UFC gold.

Murphy placed himself in title contention after a first-round spinning-elbow knockout win over Pico at UFC 319, wowing the Chicago crowd with his performance.

Prior to his best performance, the #4 contender went the distance with Josh Emmett, Edson Barboza, and Ige, securing unanimous decision victories.

The unbeaten Englishman felt the frustrations of not earning a title clash with Volkanovski at UFC 325, but is willing to keep going in order to reach that goal.

Both featherweights are not one for often finishing contests, but you can expect a high-level fight between two warriors who are eager to face the champion next.

More eye-catching fights at UFC London

A fun striking battle has been placed on the main card involving recognisable Cage Warriors fighter Luke Riley, who takes on Michael Aswell.

Riley made his debut at UFC Qatar and secured a second-round knockout win, while Aswell claimed a first-round TKO win at UFC Rio against Lucas Almeida.

Michael ‘Venom’ Page returns to welterweight and will fight in England for the first time since May 2022 as he competes against fellow Englishman Sam Patterson.

MVP aims to extend his win streak to three after beating Jared Cannonier by unanimous decision in his last bout, but Sam Patterson aims to increase his four-fight win streak, which consists of nothing but first-round finishes.

Roman Dolidze is looking to defend his #11 ranking in the middleweight division against Gloucester’s own Christian Leroy Duncan.

The Georgian is hoping to bounce back after a fourth-round submission defeat to Anthony Hernandez, but CLD is on a three-fight win streak after a successful 2025 and aims to make a bright start to his 2026.

Nathaniel Wood is once again back in London in his quest for the 145-pound rankings as he faces former Oktagon MMA Champion Losene Keita.#

The 32-year-old is on a three-fight triumphant streak after his recent win was very close against Jose Delgado at UFC 321, while Keita makes his first appearance after his debut was delayed for missing weight in his clash against Patricio Pitbull at UFC Paris.
