The Formula 1 2023 season for Aston Martin Racing became a reversal of fortune. With eight podiums and coming fifth in the Constructors’ Championship shows potential for the team based in Silverstone.
However, midway through the season in 2023, the team felt they had gone wrong in their development costing them crucial points and losing out to the fight between McLaren, Mercedes and Ferrari. However, this morning the team feel that their new challenger, the AMR24, can take the fight not only to Red Bull but also compete for race wins.
The New Challenger in 2024: AMR24

This morning Lance Stroll took the newly created AMR24 around Silverstone with Sky Sports F1 pundit Craig Slater interviewing Andy Stevenson, the Sporting Director at Aston Martin Racing.
Andy described the newly built AMR24 as an exciting prospect as the AMR24 was created in their facility and the production crew are happy with the car they have built.
Alonso’s Winning Aspirations

But the most important part of the interview was that Alonso feels this is his time, his time to start becoming competitive. Stating, “I’d love to have the first win for Aston Martin!” To the fans, will create the eagerness to see more pressure and closer action at the front of the pack and for a team to start challenging Red Bull. But will Aston Martin be one of the competitors challenging the raging bulls?
New Mission: Hyper Focus
Embed from Getty ImagesThe morning at 8:00 am, the AMR24 was announced to the world along with a new mission statement: “Hyper Focus.” In a gripping video presented by Terrell Lewis, he demonstrates that since Aston Martin’s announcement into Formula 1, their performance over the past three seasons has been a “Hillclimb towards our journey and the reason we are all here.” A new base, new car and new philosophy is what makes this team carry a special and unique feel setting high expectations for the 2024 Formula 1 season.
