The T-Mobile Arena witnessed one of the best UFC events of the year.
Plenty of knockouts and submissions were produced, along with some underdog victories that many didn’t expect.
What made UFC 320 so enjoyable for fans was the victors who succeeded in the particular fights.
Here is everything that happened on a truly historic night in Las Vegas.
Pereira becomes a two-time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion
The headliner certainly brought an anticipated rematch as the matchup was more heated compared to the first fight.
Magomed Ankalaev was hoping to bring an end to ‘Chama’ with his first title defence.
However, the Russian was going to be taking on a different and more determined Alex Pereira.
‘Poatan’ was focused on getting back his championship and climbing back up the pound-for-pound rankings.
Their first bout went the distance; their second bout lasted just 80 seconds in the first round.
At the start of the fight, Pereira instantly put pressure on Ankalaev, preparing to land a huge shot.
Eventually, it happened with a right overhand punch, making the champion seek a desperate takedown before getting finished with some brutal elbows on the ground.
It’s unclear what’s next for the Brazilian as he may either defend the Light Heavyweight title or challenge himself at Heavyweight.
The Machine continues his reign of dominance
Merab Dvalishvili is continuing to grow his fan base and full potential as the King of the Bantamweights.
But he would face Cory Sandhagen, who has proved to be a tough test on the feet and ground for multiple fighters.
The Colorado-born mixed martial artist fought for the undisputed title for the first time, making it an opportunity he couldn’t waste.
Meanwhile, the Georgian was hoping to claim his third consecutive title defence in 2025 after beating Umar Nurmagomedov and Sean O’Malley.
Sandhagen gave Dvalishvili a hard time in the first round, striking some well-timed punches.
However, the tables quickly turned in the second when ‘The Machine’ almost finished the American by TKO, landing some nasty shots.
The UFC Bantamweight Champion carried the rest of his momentum to go the distance and secure another comfortable title defence.
Dvalishvili wants to fight for a fourth time in this calendar year, hoping to face Petr Yan in December at UFC 323.
Fight of the Night delivers stunning knockout
One fight which certainly caught a lot of attention for UFC 320 was a Light Heavyweight battle between two entertaining warriors.
Both Jiri Prochazka and Khalil Rountree Jr redeemed their title losses with a win against Jamahal Hill.
It seemed clear that the two fighters wanted to make a statement to enter title contention.
After all, Carlos Ulberg made his voice heard at UFC Perth, so the top five contenders had to shine with a convincing performance.
Remarkably, Rountree Jr was winning the fight, timing his strikes well in the first two rounds, leaving Prochazka frustrated.
It left the Czech no choice but to go for a finish in the third round, as he turned the bout into chaos.
After several stunning shots, ‘BJP’ landed a nasty combination which ended with a left hook, knocking out the American.
With an incredible comeback victory, there are no surprises that fans want to see Prochazka fight for the 205-pound belt next.

‘The Moroccan Devil’ put Emmett in a terrifying armbar, leaving the #8 contender to tap in the first round verbally.
