Jasprit Bumrah was the show’s star, as India beat England by 108 runs in Visakhapatnam to level the Series 1-1.
Heading into Day Four, of the second Test, the game was on a knife-edge with England on 67-1, requiring another 332 runs for victory. Rehan Ahmed and Zak Crawley were the not-out batsmen overnight, and they needed to give England a good start.
The duo seemed to look comfortable in the middle while playing their shots.
Rohit Sharma almost pulled off a great catch to dismiss Rehan at 91-1.
But Axar Patel finally got his man when he trapped Rehan on the back foot at 95-2.
Crawley continued to attack the bowling.
Ollie Pope joined in too.
Crawley bought up 50 in style.
While Pop carried on his scintillating form.
That was until Sharma finally held onto a catch to dismiss Pope via the bowling of Ravichandran Ashwin.
Joe Root came out to bat with intent.
Unfortunately, he got a little overconfident and perished to Ashwin at 154-4.
This was a very uncharacteristic shot by the former England Captain, who threw his wicket away.
Jonny Bairstow was looking in fine touch.
And Crawley looked as if he was batting on a different surface.
But just as they began taking the game away from India, Kuldeep Yadav got the breakthrough by dismissing Crawley LBW for 73. This was a huge boost for the home side, as the Kent Batter was in full flight.
And it was a double delight for India, as Jasprit Bumrah claimed Jonny Bairstow as his first wicket of the second innings at 194-6.
The host had a firm grip on this contest, as they went for Lunch with England still requiring 205 runs for victory.
Ben Foakes was looking to be busy at the crease.
But just as he and Ben Stokes were looking to build a partnership, a sharp piece of Shreyas Iyer ran the England Captain out for 11, at 220-7.
Foakes and Tom Hartley gave England some hope with a partnership of 55.
But Bumrah put an end to it, by catching Foakes off his bowling at 275-8.
Mukesh Kumar got on the scoreboard with the wicket of Shoaib Bashir at 281-9
Jasprit Bumrah ended England’s hopes, by getting the final wicket of Hartley, ending their innings at 292
It was a clinical performance from India’s premier speedster, the Man Of the Match, with figures of 9-91.

While the Indian Captain admired England’s Bazball approach, which came up short today.
“We know we were up against a good challenge, the last couple of years England have been playing really good cricket, so it was always going to be tough. It’s a good, a win but it’s a tough series still.”
