The Minnesota Timberwolves announced that Karl-Anthony Towns’ mother, Jacqueline, passed away due to complications of the coronavirus. The announcement was made today by the Timberwolves on their social media accounts. Last month, Towns announced that his mother tested positive for the virus, during a time where the NBA season, among other leagues, were suspended out of precaution. Condolences and prayers go out to Karl-Anthony Towns and his family.
