MMA fans love to witness stunning performances, from showstopping knockouts to crafty submissions inside the Octagon.
But one thing which doesn’t go unnoticed is an entertaining back-and-forth battle where the most respect is given to the fighters.
This weekend at UFC 327, a stacked fight card is ready to be showcased, with multiple anticipated three-round wars and an exciting main event set to take centre stage.
Here are all of the fights which have the potential to take home a Fight of the Night (FOTN) bonus at the Kaseya Center in Miami.
Jiri Prochazka vs Carlos Ulberg
Beginning with the headliner, which sees two outstanding strikers go toe-to-toe for the vacant UFC Light Heavyweight Championship in what will be an intriguing brawl.
Prochazka has claimed a total of three FOTN bonuses, as his fighting style makes it a satisfying watch for MMA fans, earning him an extra $50k against Dominick Reyes, Glover Teixeira, and Khalil Rountree Jr.
The former 205-pound champion is never afraid to take damage from his opponent and likes to put pressure on, often causing chaos in the cage.
Ulberg has only one FOTN bonus, which came on his debut at UFC 259, where he lost to Kennedy Nzechukwu by second-round knockout, but the 35-year-old has been better known for his impressive finishes in the organisation.
If ‘Black Jag’ can take the power of Prochazka’s strikes and deal with his chaotic fighting style, we could be in store for one of the best fights of 2026.
It’s clear both light heavyweight contenders are going to give it their all to become the new champion; it’s just a matter of how long the contest will last and how wild it may be.
Cub Swanson vs Nate Landwehr
Moving on to the other end of the main card, which was recently moved from prelims, as it’s a showdown between two exciting unranked featherweights.
Swanson is tied for the fourth-most FOTN bonuses in UFC history (8), with his most memorable clash coming against Doo-ho Choi at UFC 206, a fight that was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame in the class of 2022.
At the age of 42, the Californian is edging closer to retirement and wants to go out on what he’s known for: providing unforgettable wars in the Octagon.
Landwehr has never been seen as a future top contender in the 145-pound division, but the American always plans to put on a show, especially with his two FOTN bonuses, which came against David Onama and Morgan Charriere.
‘The Train’ will plan to make this a slugfest as he’s currently on back-to-back third-round TKO losses and hasn’t been victorious since March 2024, so he’ll be desperate for a win.
Despite having a lot of contenders to look forward to watching at UFC 327, this particular bout will be unmissable for many.
Kevin Holland vs Randy Brown
Next up are two 170-pound fighters who are insanely close to the welterweight rankings and can produce chaos for three rounds.
While Holland is known for his eye-catching performances, he has been involved in some wild affairs, including his clash with Stephen Thompson at UFC Orlando, which was awarded a FOTN bonus.
Even when he loses, he ‘Trailblazer’ often gains respect for putting on a worthy show to the fans with examples of his clashes against Daniel Rodriguez and Jack Della Maddalena.
Brown’s last victory in the UFC is what earned him a chance to compete for the 170-pound top 15, as after his second-round knockout win over Nicolas Dalby, he was gifted an extra $50k for his battle with the Dane at UFC Kansas City.
The Jamaican is a veteran of the organisation and has faced the toughest tests in the UFC, and it’s usually those that make him a stand-out fighter.
It’s a battle for redemption at the Kaseya Center which is why this three-round bout will be interesting for so many UFC fans in the bid to maintain their relevancy.
Matuesz Gamrot vs Esteban Ribovics
Arguably a fight which should be featured on the main card of UFC 327 as the #8 lightweight ranking is on the line in this popular prelim contest.
Gamrot has claimed three FOTN bonuses in the UFC, with two of those coming against fellow 155-pound contenders, as his memorable battles have been against Guram Kutateladze, Arman Tsarukyan and Dan Hooker.
The Polish mixed martial artist often goes the distance in his battles, which means that his fights will be a good watch, as long as ‘Gamer’ has a good dance partner in the Octagon.
Ribovics has gradually become a fan favourite thanks to his non-stop striking battles, with his most notable one at UFC 306, where the Argentine brawled in a three-round war against Daniel Zellhuber.
‘El Gringo’ has earned a total of three FOTN bonuses in his three-year stint with the UFC, claiming an extra $50k against Zellhuber, Nasrat Haqparast and Elvis Brener, becoming one of the most exciting lightweights.
You cannot afford to blink when watching this 155-pound contest, as both men bring out all of their weapons to leave Miami as victorious.
Kelvin Gastelum vs. Vicente Luque
Last, but not least, a three-round middleweight bout in the early prelims, which will certainly be worth watching as two veterans of the UFC go head-to-head.
Gastelum has been viewed as an entertaining fighter since moving up to 185 pounds, as the 34-year-old holds five FOTN bonuses in the organisation for his epic back-and-forth contests.
Last year, the San Jose-born fighter was inducted into the UFC Hall of Fame for his incredible five-round interim title war with Israel Adesanya at UFC 236, which was awarded as Fight of the Year in 2019.
Luque, who makes his middleweight debut, has earned four FOTN bonuses in his UFC career, which have all come against recognisable names in MMA: Tyron Woodley, Stephen Thompson, Mike Perry and Bryan Barbarena.
‘The Silent Assassin’ has been better known for his impressive finishes, but has had to put on a show and work extremely hard to complete his objective.
It’s not often you get a big fight like this in the first part of a numbered UFC event, so pay close attention for a mind-blowing watch.
