Crystal Palace are reportedly looking at AC Milan’s Fikayo Tomori as a potential replacement for Marc Guehi, who looks set to leave this summer.

Guehi, who only has a year left on his contract, doesn’t seem close to extending his stay in south London.

The likes of Newcastle and Tottenham have shown high interest in the England international over the last few transfer windows, with the latter having a £70 million bid rejected this January transfer window.

Tomori, meanwhile, has established himself as a key piece in AC Milan’s defence since signing from Chelsea in 2021 and a move back to the Premier League appears likely.

The Austrian is gearing up for a demanding season, with Palace likely to be involved in four competitions, including the Europa League–pending UEFA’s confirmation after their FA Cup victory in May.

Tomori is one of three defenders on Palace’s wish list, with many other Premier League clubs showing interest in the Canadian-born centre-back, therefore the Eagles may have to act quickly to secure his signature.

Newly appointed AC Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri doesn’t see Tomori as part of his plans for the coming season, meaning he could be available on a cut price deal.

Since arriving at the San Siro, Tomori has made 167 appearances for the Rossoneri, and played a big role in his side’s Serie A triumph in his second season.

His experience and winning mentality would bring a valuable edge to Palace’s backline.

Could the upcoming World Cup influence Tomori’s decision?

With the 2026 World Cup looming, Tomori may see a move back to England as a chance to reignite his international career.

Marc Guehi’s rise at Palace has coincided with his emergence as a regular in the Three Lions starting XI and Tomori could view his success and look to follow a similar path.

If Tomori gets regular game time and performs at a high level, he could definitely be on Tuchel’s radar ahead of the tournament.
