At the end of week 9, Chelsea remains top of the Premier League with Liverpool and Manchester City close behind. West Ham United have jumped into the top 4 from 7th. Burnley, Newcastle United and Norwich City remain the bottom three, all still looking for a Premier League win. 

Arsenal 3-1 Aston Villa

Alexandre Lacazette makes his first Premier League start this season

23′ Emile Smith Rowe’s (pictured below) corner goes in off the head of Thomas Partey to put Arsenal in front.

45+6′ Arsenal are awarded a penalty after Matt Targett fouls Alexandre Lacazette inside the box. Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s initial shot was saved by Emiliano Martinez but Aubameyang scores from the clearance.

56′ Smith Rowe receives the ball from Aubameyang and scores in the bottom left corner to extend Arsenal’s lead

82′ Jacob Ramsey’s shot from outside the box goes into the top right corner to score his first goal for Aston Villa in the Premier League. The goal was assisted by Leon Bailey.
