A Virgil Van Dijk header was enough to seal the deal for Liverpool against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup Final at Wembley. The win made it the 10th time Liverpool have been victorious in the competition.

The victory also came at a ridiculously huge cost for the Reds. Ryan Gravenberch was stretchered out after a nasty tackle from Moisés Caicedo and Wataru Endo was seen limping off the stadium on crutches after the game.

These new set of injuries adds to the fine list of players like Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diego Jota, Curtis Jones, Mohammed Salah, Dominic Szoboszlai, Alisson Becker, Darwin Nunez, Stefan Bajcetic, Thiago Alcantara & Joel Matip all on the sidelines for coming fixtures.

With Pep’s Manchester City and Arteta’s fiery Arsenal hot on Klopp’s tail for the English Premier League title. The German also has his eyes fixated on the Europa League and FA Cup. He plans with the help of his squad to finish his final tenure at the club on a high.

This will not be the first time Klopp and his team will face pressure at the red zone. 2018/2019 season saw Liverpool lose the league title to Manchester City with one point.

Facing the same ill luck in the 2021/2022 season when Manchester City snatched a late win on the last day against Aston Villa to lift the Premier league trophy. Will the third time be the charmed one?

Jarell Quansah has shown top quality. Stepping up whenever he had the opportunity of deputizing for Joel Matip, Virgil Van Dijk, or Ibrahima Konate.

Bobby Clark and James McConnell have also done a tremendous job. Filling the boots of injured Szoboszlai, Thiago, Bajcetic and Curtis in the midfield position. Jayden Danns addition to the attack with Jota and Nunez has also been a bright start.

As it stands Liverpool’s dream of winning a quadruple this season will fall on the boots of the youngsters. Klopp has visibly shown his trust in youngsters like Bobby Clark, Jayden Danns, Jarell Quansah, Trey Nyoni and James McConnell all getting a call up from the German gaffer.

The question on everyone lips remain, will this be enough as the plot thickens, and we reach the red zone in the season?
