The 2022 March madness is currently underway, and it’s time for frenzy betting. This tournament is loved because of the excitement it offers to the whole nation.

Even though the NCAA Tournament has seen many upsets and surprises, the top 16 teams have not changed much in futures market betting. Gonzaga remains a heavy favorite to win this tournament, followed closely by Kansas and Arizona, the other two exciting No. 1 seeds that advanced.

Nonetheless, the way brackets are shaping up over the first two rounds will definitely affect how the futures market looks at the start of the second weekend.

Houston, the No. 5 seed, has the fourth-best odds of winning the title at +1000 (ahead of Duke and Texas Tech). With both of the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds losing out from the Midwest Region over the weekend, Kansas now has the second-best chances of winning it all compared to No. 1 seed Arizona.

There were also odds boosts for remaining teams in the East Region after No. 2 seed Kentucky and No. 1 seed Baylor lost in rounds one and two, respectively. As a result of its wins over Yale and Texas, No. 3 seed Purdue dropped its odds from +1800 to +1000, and UCLA’s odds moved from +2000 to +1600, giving it a statistically better chance of winning the championship.

Besides these movements, there are many others on the futures market. Below is a look at aggregated current odds, courtesy of various sportsbooks, ahead of Thursday’s Sweet 16, which tips off this week.

A variety of Sportsbooks also provide handicapped odds on regional winners in the futures market. It’s not surprising that the other No. 1 seeds are favourites, and No. 3 seed Purdue leads the east region betting odds. There’s no doubt that Arizona is the most vulnerable of the top seeds, and it is the sole favourite with a plus bet.

Betting on March Mardness Futures: What to Know

It’s no surprise that March Madness is at the top of your annual sports betting calendar. Individuals looking to bet on it can generate good winnings from the lucrative odds.

Bettors can place futures bets just like the NBA Moneyline Bets, even though the single-elimination event is like the Super Bowl.

College Basketball Futures are usually posted shortly after the season concludes, as is the case for other sports. Some of the top college basketball players usually put themselves into the NBA Draft to forgo their eligibility in the college game. This increases the popularity of the futures betting market because there is a spike in odds.

Upon becoming a professional, a player cannot return to amateur status and continue as one. The ability to forecast who will return and leave can give the bettor each team’s chances over the oddsmakers. Identifying a team with more experience is one of the most significant advantages of College Basketball Futures.
