The 24-year-old is a wanted man given his solid performances for Nice. His defensive partnership with 40-year-old Dante has helped the club solidify its defensive posture.

Jean-Clair Todibo has made his mark for the club. Since arriving at Allianz Riviera from Barcelona the defender has made over 121 appearances for the club where he has found the back of the net twice and has registered two assists as well. Initially, the player joined the club on loan in January 2021 however the deal for him was made permanent this summer.
The French defender will be able to taste Champions League football at Nice in the 2024-25 season.
Chelsea and Man United Battle to Secure Star Signing
Chelsea and Manchester United are keen on recruiting Todibo. The Red Devils could see Raphael Varane and Jonny Evans leave the club this summer as free agents as there is no update on a new contract being offered to them. Hence, they are looking to bring in defensive reinforcements who could replace the departing stars.
Meanwhile, Chelsea could also see Malang Saar and Trevoh Chalobah head for the exits hence they are looking to bring in defensive recruits and Todibo is on their radar.
Nice is expecting bids to come for the player however they are not looking to offload Jean-Clair Todibo at the moment. Their stance on his transfer situation is clear which is they do not want to sell him.
The Intriguing Maze of Todibo’s Transfer
In a recent interview with The Mirror, Jean-Clair Todibo revealed that he will wait until the summer before deciding on his next career move.
“I am at Nice and we’re having a great season. I don’t have my head elsewhere. If I did it would be difficult for me personally and for the group too,”
“I feel really good at Nice. We’ll see what happens in the summer but we’re not there yet. I don’t want to get ahead of myself. I don’t want to give false hope. For now, I’m here at Nice.
