Richardson Takes 5 Wickets As Australia Go 2-0 Up

Jhye Richardson took 5 wickets as Australia complete a 275 run victory on the final day of the 2nd Ashes Test in Adelaide, the hosts going 2-0 up in the 5-match series.

Morning Session

Resuming on 82/4, the visitors would lose Ollie Pope as he was caught by Steve Smith off the bowling of Mitchell Starc for 4 before Ben Stokes would be LBW to Nathan Lyon for 12. Jos Buttler (pictured below) and Chris Woakes would see England through to lunch at 142/6 with 16 and 28 respectively.

Afternoon Session

After a long partnership between the two, Woakes (pictured below) would be bowled by Jhye Richardson for 44 before Ollie Robinson would be the next man out, caught by Smith off the bowling of Lyon, for 8 off 39 balls. Buttler and Stuart Broad would survive until the break, finishing the session on 25 and 0 not out respectively.

Evening Session

Buttler would be the ninth man out, hit wicket off the bowling of Richardson (pictured below), for 26 off 207 balls before James Anderson would ve the last man out, caught by Green for 2, to give Richardson his first 5-wicket haul in Test match cricket.
