Manchester City have a rock-solid team, and their quest for silverware is taking shape as they still have a shot at lifting both the FA Cup and the Premier League title. We will take a look at a few players whose performances have got everyone talking.

Abdukodir Khusanov

Khusanov has been making waves, and people are raving about him on social media. His pace, strength, defensive capability, and the hunger to prove himself set him apart.

But what is worth noticing is that he is coached by two of the best coaches. Pep Guardiola at Manchester City and Fabio Cannavaro at the Uzbekistan National Team. It’s not an everyday occurrence that you see a 6-foot-1-inch defender outmuscle Virgil van Dijk, Ibrahima Konate and Hugo Ekitike.

It is certain that Khusanov is destined for greatness at the back, but will he continue his stint with City or switch clubs? This is yet to be seen.

Ryan Cherki

Joga Bonito is a phrase that is strongly associated with Brazil. Its emphasis is on skill, dribbling and improvisation.

This concept has inspired many football players around the world. Speaking of Manchester City, there is one player who excites fans with his skills, footwork, and flair.

Cherki has piqued many fans’ interest with his on-pitch capabilities. The Frenchman’s playbook is filled with exquisite skills that can light up the stadium.

From different passing techniques to a variety of skills, Cherki leaves no stone unturned. Entertaining players leave their mark on the game instantly, and that is exactly what Cherki is doing.

Let’s put his skills aside; some of his passes have come straight out of FIFA 19. The French National Team have a weapon in their hands, and he can make a big difference for them in the upcoming FIFA World Cup.

Antoine Semenyo

Strong, agile and able to cover a lot of ground quickly.

These are some of the traits that an ideal winger should have, considering that it’s his job to beat the defenders on the wing and create goal-scoring opportunities.

Since joining City, Semenyo has been off and running, scoring 9 goals in 19 appearances across all competitions.

He might not be the most technically gifted winger, but his positional awareness makes him a weapon on the wing.

The Ghana international has a bright future ahead.

Manchester City have a robust squad and has established itself as a title contender. Going forward, if these players keep their feet on the ground and exhibit the same type of form, then they can be a force to be reckoned with.
