Alexander Isak and his longly awaited move to Liverpool is finally complete, as Newcastle United have accepted a British record fee of £125million.

The champions have made an impressive start to their defence of the Premier League Title, with three straight wins, and are hoping that their new goal machine can be a part of a juggernaut that will continuously bring silverware to this great club.

Last season, Isak was the Premier League’s second-highest goal scorer with 23 goals, behind Mohamed Salah, who won the Golden Boot with 29 goals.

Can you imagine an attack with Salah, Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, Federico Chiesa, Coady Gakpo, and Isak? Now that is terrifying.

Some people may think that this is a 50/50 deal for the Reds. It could either make them invincible or it could backfire, as seen with Christian Benteke.

Benteke, who joined the club in 2015 for £32.50million, failed to emulate the devastating form he had at Aston Villa.

The way the club has been run, you wouldn’t think that it would backfire.

The club were also on the verge of bringing in Crystal Palace Centre-Back Marc Guehi on a long-term contract for £35 million.

Unfortunately, the deal is now of, as Palace refused to sanction the move, as they could not find a suitable replacement for the England Defender.

This would have bring their total Transfer Window expenditure to a whopping £457.5 million, surpassing Chelsea’s £404.4 million spent in the summer of 2023.

Even though Manchester City, Chelsea, and Arsenal have done excellent business in the Transfer Market, getting in players like Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, and Isak, has completely overtaken the rest in terms of who has won the Transfer Window.

Can anyone stop them from dominating this season? It’s going to be a tough ask.

You can imagine how much of a relief this must be for Crystal Palace, who were desperately trying to find a replacement, especially having watched a potential deal for Igor Julio from Brighton & Hove Albion collapse.

If rumours are to be believed, Julio looks set to join West Ham instead.

Both clubs are also interested in a loan for Chelsea’s Axel Disasi, but will have to see what happens.
