Salah has bagged 39 goals this season for the Reds.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has played down talks of forward Mohammed Salah’s potential exit from the Reds and believes the Egyptian is “very comfortable” at Liverpool.
Mo Salah, Liverpool’s top scorer with 39 goals for the season, has seen transfer rumours brewing of a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Klopp, however, is confident that Salah is staying put this summer, stating Salah is more than happy with life at Liverpool.
Klopp told German publication Bild: “I know that Mo feels very comfortable here, and he knows that our style of play suits him very well, so I am not worried about a transfer.”
Salah has the potential to become Liverpool’s third-ever player to reach 40 goals in a season and is the current top scorer in the Premier League with 29 goals; four more than his golden boot rival Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspur forward).
Salah has expressed playing for Liverpool as “special” and has nothing but praise for the Liverpool faithful; telling CNN: “There’s something very special about playing for Liverpool. The Champions League nights are special for the fans too. You can feel it on the streets”
“The atmosphere in that first game against Manchester City was the first time I had really seen something like that.
“When we saw the draw, everyone knew it would be a difficult game, but I said we had to be positive and win. That’s what we did.”
Following a cinematic weekend of FA Cup action, the country is as gripped as it has ever recently been on the historic competition. But how long will that last with the upcoming TV deal that looks set to change everything?
