Rehan Ahmed bids farewell to India tour

England’s young leg-spinner, Rehan Ahmed, will be leaving the India tour abruptly due to a family emergency.

Despite featuring prominently in the first three Tests. He was left out for the penultimate match in Ranchi, where England opted for Tom Hartley and Shoaib Bashir as spinners.

No Replacement Planned for Rehan Ahmed

Even with just 14 players remaining for the final Test in Dharamshala. England has opted not to seek a replacement for Ahmed.
