Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies has been linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent months. Reports suggesting an agreement is near to being reached with both player and club.

The Canadian who is regarded as one of the quickest left backs in the world, has won multiple domestic and European trophies since making his Bayern debut back in 2019.

It leaves Bayern in desperate need for a left back as Davies pushes for a move away with Liverpool’s Andy Robertson linked with a move to Germany.

Davies’ Dominance Will Propel Real Madrid to European Heavyweight Status

With rumours continuing to surface that a move to Madrid is on the cards for Alphonso Davies it cements Real Madrid as one of the favourites for next year’s Champions League. Journalist Fabrizio Romano offered an update on X (formerly Twitter.)

Davies becomes the second superstar to be linked to the Los Blanco’s. With Kylian Mbappe also on the way to the Spanish side as a free agent in the summer. With Davies’s contract expiring in 2025 it leaves Bayern in a tricky position should they cash in this summer or convince Davies to sign a new contract.

Since making his debut back in 2019, Alphonso Davies has been a crucial part for Bayern Munich as they won the treble back in 2020. The Canadian has made eighteen appearances so far with one goal and three assists in the Bundesliga.

With Davies reportedly joining Los Blanco’s. It cements Madrid’s dominance as the greatest European teams in the world and by adding Davies to their current squad of superstars it makes them favourites for all the competitions they will play in next season.

Andy Robertson to replace Alphonso Davies at Bayern

With Alphonso Davies nearing a move to Madrid, it leaves Bayern with work to do in the transfer window. One name which has featured quite regularly is Liverpool’s Andy Robertson.

The Scotland captain is the likely candidate to replace the Canadian at Bayern Munich. Robertson who has established himself as one of the best left backs in the Premier League. He has 58 assists in his Premier League career so far.

Any deal with Liverpool is likely to be difficult as the Scotsman is one of their biggest assets and one of the reasons why Jürgen Klopp’s side has been so successful in recent years winning both the Champions League and the Premier League.
