Here we are. Approaching another deadline day in a window that has been relatively quiet in comparison to some.

The Eagles have been busy in the past couple of days. The South London side has announced the long-awaited signing of a right back: Colombian Daniel Munoz made the £6.8 Million move after taking action into his own hands and striking from Gent’s training session. He said:

“It’s a pleasure for me to be here at such a historic club, such a big club as Crystal Palace,”

Palace are also on the cusp of announcing highly rated talent Adam Wharton from Blackburn Rovers for a reported £18 million fee. In the tug-of-war between Crystal Palace and fellow London club Chelsea, it appears that the South London club has come out on top.

Wharton came through the Blackburn Academy and has previously featured for the England Under-20 side.

Speaking to BBC Radio Lancaster, after their 4-1 win over Wrexham, Blackburn’s boss had this to say:

“We know there are a lot of rumours and when you have a good player, which Adam is and maybe an England player one time, there is a chance he could go away.”

The Armando Broja saga continues. Fabrizio Romano reported that Chelsea have rejected a loan approach from Wolves.

Wolves, Fulham, and West Ham are linked with Broja. The 22-year-old has struggled with game time and form this season, only netting once in 13 appearances.

Chelsea are looking for reinforcements up top. Chelsea are looking to replace Broja with Lille’s Jonathan David who has 11 goals to his name this year.

It’s been a busy window for West Ham.

Highly rated and sought-after Kalvin Phillips has moved to West Ham on loan for the remainder of the 2023/24 season.

The 28-year-old joined the Hammers from Manchester City as he struggled to find a consistent role in their team. With West Ham challenging for Europe Kalvin Phillips will add stability and will fill some of the void Declan Rice left behind.

West Ham have also been reported to have re-opened talks with former Celtic star Jota. Fans around the world were left perplexed by Jota’s situation in Saudi Arabia after he joined Al-Ittihad for £25 million.

There were many speculations, but the truth is that the Saudi club simply didn’t register him due to a division rule of allowing only eight foreign players to be registered.

West Ham are looking to free Jota from his hellish experience and aim to sign him on loan for the rest of the season. However, a tax issue involved in the deal could make it difficult for the Hammers to complete the signing – it will go down to the wire.

Brighton have yet again been busy. Signing highly rated Argentine, Valentin Barco. Alongside Barco, Brighton have signed Adrian Mazilu, Steven Hall, and Kamari Doyle – all for an undisclosed fee.

On the contrary, Manchester United has not been as busy as Brighton. Alvaro Fernandez has been recalled from Granada. United are yet to make a signing this window. However, they are set to plot a £40 million bid for Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite

Tottenham are seriously considering a bid for Connor Gallagher in the final days of the window. The England midfielder is out of contract in 17 months. Chelsea is considering letting their academy star leave for their fierce rivals, this move would help stabilize their FFP position.
