Cool Cooke Double Century Sees Glamorgan Rack Up Runs

A career-best double century from Chris Cooke saw Glamorgan score over 600 against Surrey in Division 2 on Day 2 in the final round of the County Championship.

Lancashire vs Hampshire (Division 1)

Resuming on 25/3, the hosts would move to 27 before Josh Bohannon would be caught by Joe Weatherley off the bowling of Keith Barker for 13 with Jack Blatherwick caught by Ian Holland off the bowling of Mohammad Abbas for 4. Dane Vilas would be caught by Liam Dawson off the bowling of Barker for 7 before Danny Lamb would be caught by Weatherley without scoring in the same over – Lancs sitting at 47/7 at this point.

Luke Wood would be caught behind by Tom Alsop off the bowling of Brad Wheal for 37 before Steven Croft would be caught by Dawson off the bowling of Abbas for 40. Tom Bailey (pictured below) would be the final wicket to fall, caught by Holland off the bowling of Abbas, for 23 with Matt Parkinson 4 not out.

Holland would be caught by Bohannon off the bowling of Bailey before Mason Crane would be bowled by the same bowler for the same score. Alsop would be caught behind by Alex Davies off Bailey’s bowling for 2 before Nick Gubbins would be bowled by George Balderson for 6.

Weatherley would give Bailey his fourth wicket of the innings as he was bowled for 33 before James Vince would be LBW to Parkinson for 69. Dawson would be the final wicket to fall, bowled by Bailey, for 41 with Wheal and Felix Organ both resuming 0 not out.

George Hill would be caught by Haseeb Hameed off the bowling of Luke Fletcher for 5 before Tom Kohler-Cadmore would be bowled the next ball for a golden duck. Adam Lyth would be LBW to Brett Hutton for 4 before Will Fraine would be caught behind by Tom Moores of the bowling of Fletcher for 12.
